Welcome back! There was some chatter in the comments section about this blog being a fraud after going .500 week 1. I would like to quickly address those who commented, FUCK YOU I am still here, and I am just getting started. 4-2 last week LFG!! Sorry just had to get that outta my system and if you are reading this, I am glad to have you. If you followed the picks last week and bet 20k a game you would be up almost 40k . If you did follow the picks but did not put that much down that’s fine, we do not unit shame around here (bet more I cannot lose) and to those of you that did not bet I guess you do not like free money. Last week opened on an absolute heater, the bills game hit every possible way that I called

The raiders game, my god who needed the points. Minshew mania was alive and well winning outright, and his flow was as majestic as ever. As far as my 49ers bet, yes, I used a lot of karate kid references on this game and yes, I ended up getting crane kicked right in the fucking face, whatever Sam Darnold still sucks, and I will fade him again this week. The Rams Cardinals game well yes that sucked and was over in the first quarter and I have never felt fatter, apparently Kyler Murray is taking a break from gaming until the new call of duty drops 😑.. As for Bengals Chiefs this was the first time in 6 recent tries fading Mahomes actually worked and there is only one thing to say.

Then Sunday night rolled around and a beautiful back door cover by an anemic bears unit and I would not have it any other way. This 4-2 record did require sacrifice. I had to sacrifice time with my child and another Sunday with minimal conversation with my wife, so I was able to watch 7 hours of commercial free football, and I will do it again if I need to to stay on this fucking heater. I did not say it was gonna be easy I just said I was gonna get it done. Enough gassing myself up let us get into week 3

Jets-6.5 vs PATRIOTS

They beat the titans last week, sweet. This offense is playing like they are coming down from an Aaron Rodgers ayahuasca team building activity trip. Yeah, the Patriots have not been playing the sexiest football either well it is a little sexy they are 2-0 ATS but they are mucking it up and keeping it close. Jets are on their third game in 11 days it might mean something it might not, but I’m way too invested in that stat to bet against it

Pick: PATRIOTS +6.5

Colts -1.5 vs BEARS

Everyone knows good teams win and great teams’ cover. This bears team is a truly elite unit against the spread, they will not go quietly into the night. That defense is absolutely disgusting and Anthony Richardson sucks enough to the point I think bears alt line MIGHT be the move.

TITANS -2.5 vs Packers

I was told this blog might be too quarterback focused and should change it up. When it comes to this game FUCK THAT, my god this showdown feels like a heavyweight fight. This is the definition of steel sharpens steel, even tho it has recently been brought to my attention that scientifically this is wrong. Willis coming fresh off of his first career 100-yard game game and Levis bringing his 67 ytd QB rating to the table. Not gonna be shocking if both guys complete under 50% on the day and you’ll be living and dying with every single yard gained (this is the shit I gamble for) Titans feel like the more complete team with a less shitty QB .

Pick: TITANS -2.5

Steelers -1.5 vs CHARGERS

Russ has been inactive to start the first two weeks, and he is still dressed in full pads for the games. This is the kind of leadership you are only born with. That being said his leadership from the sideline can only carry the Steelers so far before the real Justin Fields pops back up ( it’s due to happen ) Mike Tomlin is a stud going into a game as an underdog but as a favorite he is 47% ATS, you’ve gotta fade here

Pick: Chargers +1.5

Ravens -1.5 vs COWBOYS

Ravens are off to their worst start in a decade this is the definition of a must win, Lamar is 20-3 vs NFC teams in his career, their backs are against the wall. It is all these reasons that I have to bet the cowboys. I do not wanna do it, I fucking need to do it. It has been free money this year fading Lamar and I’m riding this train until it comes off the rails, we have seen how bad he is in big games and this one is huge. Cowboys are also 43-15 at home under Dak, he’s gonna bounce back.

CHIEFS -3 vs Falcons

As much as I’d love to fade the chiefs again, I just cannot do it. Atlantas offense was meh most of last week against a non existent Philly pass rush, chiefs defense can actually get after it, and Mahomes is coming off the worst game of his career he’s not laying an egg two weeks in a row and let’s be honest NFL isn’t gonna go back to back nationally televised games with minimal Taylor swift shots. Chiefs’ offense will be back rolling and hammer the over of the camera cutting to Taylor 10 times.
