I’m baaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkk and football is back. It has been a long off season but finally football has returned and the blog is back on its quest to bankrupt FanDuel and your local bookie. For those of you returning I appreciate your support and you’re welcome for letting you look into my crystal ball last season. If you’re new to the Blog WELCOME !! You’re in great hands with these picks as I finished the season right under 60% against the spread. I have one rule with this blog , everybody bets and nobody quits. The foundation of this blog was built on accountability. I bet every pick on this blog . To quote Michael Jordan “ one thing about Michael Jordan he never asked me to do something that he didn’t fucking do”. This blog will never give you a pick that it didn’t fucking bet, that is a promise. This season will be the best one yet, it has to be. The Stakes have never been higher, there is no room for error. We’re not just making picks for clicks there’s a single income to worry about, there’s child support, there’s a mortgage payment. The pressure has never been greater and the blog is ready to deliver. So let’s get into week 1
COWBOYS +8.5 vs eagles
This game starts the trend of the week. The dogs are barking so loud this week, I thought I was writing this from one of Michael Vick’s kennels. We’re betting the number here, it’s a divisional game and it’s early in the year. Everyone’s last memory of the eagles last year was them clubbing the chiefs like a baby seal, in the Super Bowl. In the eagles first 3 games last year their point differential was +7, I’m banking their offense being slow out of the gate again

CHARGERS +3 vs chiefs
PICK: CHARGERS +3
Ok so what is the hype with these two? Travis is completely washed, the guy was literally walking during the Super Bowl. As far as Taylor I just don’t get it, she’s not even touring anymore, it’s like the sopranos, it’s over get a new show. In the looks department give me a 60 year old Shania Twain over Taylor any day of the week. As far as the actual game Harbaugh is 5-0 in week one, and the chargers love playing the chiefs tight.
GIANTS +5.5 vs commanders
Let’s not forget Russy got to the playoffs last year, he’s not done yet. The commanders had absolutely insane luck in one score games last year and had the best 4th down conversion % in the league by a mile, that always comes back down to earth at some point. Dan Quinn being 1-6 in openers has me loving the Gmen to cover in this spot.
PICK: GIANTS +5.5
STEELERS -2.5 vs jets
I’m very high on the Steelers this year, maybe higher than Rodgers in the picture above. Rodgers definitely started slow last year, he heated up big time down the stretch. Another off season removed from that Achilles and Pittsburgh always shows up on defense, it is going to be too much for the jets. Also I just have to get it on when there’s a revenge game like this on the table.
PICK: STEELERS -2.5
BROWNS +5.5 vs bengals
Bengals have built their team like a pissed off 13 year old in madden, using 75% of their cap on four players. That offensive line is train wreck and they’re a mess on defense. The Browns have owned Burrow and the bengals are pathetic in September, maybe they’re due but I’m fading them in September until they show anything.
PICK: BROWNS +5.5
BUCS-1.5 vs falcons
Baker is bordering elite territory. Bucs can score and with this basically being pick ‘em I can’t see Atlanta keeping up, unless Kyle Pitts finally shows up, which is always on the table, especially with him coming into year five.
PICK: BUCS -1.5
PACKERS-2.5 vs lions
This is your rat line if the week. Lions catching 2.5 the public is all over them. GB was solid last year and Jordan Love was banged up the whole year. Love is healthy, the receiving group is a year older and the addition of parsons the packers are primed to make the jump.

RAMS -3 vs texans
I don’t think the Stafford back issues are nearly as bad as the media made it seem. The dude is 37 he was just getting a break from camp. As far as the texans when they have to punch up in weight class against a real contender I’ve seen them struggle, I like the rams and I like them big. Why say no when it feels so good to say yes.
